KUCHING: Drivers using Jalan Wan Alwi near the Tabuan Jaya Custom Housing Quarters need to take note of a temporary diversion starting July 24, 2026.
Sarawak Metro said the diversion is to make way for Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) construction works. The arrangement is scheduled to run until Jan 23, 2027.
What road users need to know
The affected stretch is in front of the Tabuan Jaya Custom Housing Quarters. Motorists are advised to slow down, watch the road signs and follow the traffic management plan around the work zone.
Sarawak Metro said it will update the public if there are changes to the works or traffic arrangements.
