7 Houses Destroyed, 44 Displaced in Early Morning Fire at Tabuan Hilir, Kuching

44 people from six families lost their homes in a pre-dawn fire at Tabuan Hilir, Kuching this morning.
Bomba received the emergency call at 3.41am and arrived within 3 minutes. Seven wooden houses were involved — six completely gutted, one 30% damaged. Three motorcycles were also destroyed.
The blaze was brought under control by 4.44am, with operations wrapping up at 7.08am.
28 firefighters from Tabuan Jaya, Padungan & Batu Lintang stations responded with 5 vehicles. All 44 residents escaped safely — no injuries reported.
