Sarawak Water investigating suspected leak on major water pipeline along Jalan Matang — no water cuts planned yet The affected pipeline is the 1,100mm-diameter MSCL main that delivers treated water to Bukit Siol Reservoir, supplying consumers across Kuching, Petra Jaya and surrounding areas. Sarawak Water said its technical team is carrying out detailed investigations to determine the exact location and extent of the suspected leak before deciding on the next course of action. As part of the investigation, the utility needs to access an isolation valve located within the road median. It is working with JKR to facilitate the necessary excavation works.
