A man died and three people were injured when two lorries collided on Jalan Sungai Menyan in Serian on Friday afternoon. The Serian Fire and Rescue Station received the emergency call at about 2.50pm. The crash involved a cargo lorry and a five-tonne lorry; four people were reported to be involved, with the man found trapped beneath the overturned five-tonne vehicle. Ministry of Health personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The three injured victims were reported to have light injuries. One was taken to Serian Hospital by members of the public, while two were sent there in an Emergency Medical Rescue Services vehicle.
