美里522人考获B2驾照 援助计划累计惠及逾2700人

美里国会选区服务中心的驾照援助计划再有522名参与者考获B2级摩托车驾照；自2024年推行以来，累计考获驾照者已超过2700人。
旅游、艺术及文化部副部长兼美里区国会议员赵俊文（Chiew Choon Man）在文告中说，计划主要协助有需要的人以较低成本考取驾照，让他们有条件争取工作及增加收入。
《婆罗洲邮报》10月23日报道，这批参与者的驾照颁发仪式于上周举行。522人是本次获颁驾照的群体，逾2700人则是2024年以来的累计人数，不能把两组数字当作两批新受惠者相加。
这次公布的是考照成果，并非新一轮开放报名通知，也没有列出新报名截止日期或个人须缴付的确切费用。赵俊文同时提醒获照者遵守交通规则，正确佩戴获Sirim认证的头盔。考获驾照增加了就业与出行选择，安全骑乘的责任仍在骑士身上。
