人工降雨优先瞄准4座水厂，砂拉越加码应对供水压力

砂拉越下一轮人工降雨行动，将把Simunjan、Lingga、Spaoh和Lichok的4座水厂列为优先目标。 持续炎热干燥天气已同时压低原水储备和水坝水位，州方正设法稳住供水。
行动目标窗口为9月3日至5日，但前提是目标地区出现足够云层，9月1日还会由相关机构开会决定执行安排。因此，这个日期不是已经确定的飞行时间表，天气条件不足时行动也可能无法进行。
供水应急工作同步扩大。8月18日至29日，JBALB的24辆水车及74辆合约罗里，共98辆车在Samarahan、Sri Aman、Betong、Limbang和Miri出动680趟，送出334万4260公升水。灾难管理委员会也批准40万令吉购买额外水箱，并在较大型乡区设立中央取水点。
从今年1月1日至8月26日，瓶装饮用水援助处理了1943宗个案，覆盖49,523个家庭、225,822人。面对断水或水压不稳的居民，应留意JBALB和Sarawak Water发布的水车路线及取水点安排；各地开放时间未必相同。
