砂拉越API超过500，政府与私人工作场所或须关闭

API超过500才会触发大部分工作场所关闭，砂拉越目前没有全面停工令。
砂拉越州灾难管理委员会的逐级烟霾指南写明，API超过500时，政府及私人机构的办公室和工作场所须关闭，必要服务除外；之后仍待国家灾难管理委员会宣布进入灾难紧急状态。
截至8月30日下午2时，实文然API为425、三马拉汉336、古晋313，距离500还有一段距离。不过，API介于400至500时已经应避免户外工作；301至400则须评估能见度、驾车开车头灯，户外工作者使用N95防护口罩。
活动是否照常举行，现阶段仍由主办单位决定，除非当局发出个别指示。对古晋及砂拉越其他地区的雇主和员工来说，应先查看工作地点的API读数及官方通知，不要等到超过500才调整户外工作安排。
