砂拉越政府已拨出600万令吉，兴建通往Batang Ai Nanga Kapu的道路。有关拨款于8月28日在Lubok Antu举行的Batang Ai社区交流活动上宣布。
项目旨在改善偏远地区居民前往基本服务设施和经济活动地点的交通条件。不过，道路全长、具体路线和施工时间表尚未公布。项目何时能在当地动工，还要看设计、招标及承包商委任进度。
待这些前期工作完成后，实际施工时间表才会更清楚。
