Betong 35公顷泥炭地火灾，7天行动后扑灭

Betong Serembang一场涉及35公顷泥炭地的火灾，经过7天扑救后已经完全扑灭。
砂拉越消拯局（Bomba）表示，行动于8月28日下午4时结束，现场A至F全部6个火灾区域都已清理。消拯人员用水泵和水管处理残余火点，挖掘机则开辟通道，让队伍能够进入地形困难的地点。
火势最初影响33公顷，后来再扩大2公顷。天然资源与环境局通过无人机监测，确认最后一轮扑救后现场没有残留烟雾或火势。
这次行动面对道路狭窄、附近水源不足，以及无线电和手机通讯覆盖不佳等问题。有关地点仍会不时受到监测，民众应避开受影响泥炭地；若再发现烟雾，也应尽快通知有关单位。
