The Sarawak Science Centre (SSCiEX) in Kuching is meant to support classroom learning with interactive tools, teacher resources and practical science exposure beyond textbooks.
Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn said the centre will connect young Sarawakians with areas like robotics, coding, biotechnology and renewable energy.
Why it matters
For students, this is not just another building. It gives schools a place to bring science lessons closer to real life.
The centre is also part of Sarawak's PCDS 2030 push to grow local STEM talent and support an innovation-driven economy.
