Sarawak Energy is warning the public not to respond to fake Sesco emails asking for personal or payment details.

The company said scammers have been using fake messages that look like official utility emails to trick users into giving sensitive information.
The public is advised not to click suspicious links, open unknown attachments, or share banking details, IC numbers, passwords, TAC/OTP codes, or other private information through email.
Anyone unsure about a bill, payment notice, or account message should check directly through Sarawak Energy's official channels instead of replying to the email.
