Sarawak and Indonesia are looking at more air links between Sarawak and major Indonesian cities.
The matter was discussed during a courtesy visit by Indonesian Consul General in Kuching, Dr Abdullah Zulkifli, to Sarawak Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin.
The routes discussed include Jakarta, Balikpapan and Pontianak.
Transport links also on the table
Both sides also talked about improving land connectivity through ICQS checkpoints along the Sarawak-Kalimantan border.
Lee said movement between Sarawak and Kalimantan is growing, so better transport links would help tourism, trade, investment and people-to-people ties.
