Miri Bus Stop Cracks Raise Safety Concern
-
A bus stop in front of Tamu Krokop 10, Miri, has visible cracks on its pillar and seating area.

Residents raised the issue earlier this week, and DAP Sarawak secretary Alan Ling said he has lodged it with Talikhidmat.
He visited the site and said one supporting pillar had major cracks, with reinforcing steel bars already exposed. The seating area also showed visible cracks.
Ling urged Miri City Council to send a technical team to check whether the bus stop is still safe for public use. If it is unsafe, he said repairs or replacement should be done quickly.
Location: Tamu Krokop 10, Miri
Details: Cracked pillar, exposed steel bars, and public safety concerns at a frequently used bus stop.
