Batu Kawa通往Rantau Panjang的道路暂时维持开放，土地征用与赔偿谈判已经展开。
有关土地纠纷涉及一块被用作公共道路的私人土地。有关道路连接Batu Kawa旧镇与Rantau Panjang，地主与相关当局目前已正式展开土地征用和赔偿讨论。
当局要求地主暂时不要封路，让公众继续通行并避免影响道路安全。地主指称，私人土地部分范围过去被公共工程局（JKR）用来建设道路及其他公共设施。
Batu Kawa中华公会主席Lim Ah Ted促请各方通过法律和行政程序解决问题。他说，公共道路必须保持开放，也不应再采取单方面封路行动。
目标日期或工程宣布，不等于道路已经开放或设施已经投入运作。在正式通车或服务通告出现前，居民应继续使用现有安排，并留意下一项审批、施工或试运行进度。
