砂拉越生物工业园中心枢纽动工，预计两年完成

砂拉越生物工业园中央枢纽已在哥打三马拉汉动工，目标是在24个月内完成。
图片： The Borneo Post整个发展项目占地100英亩，概念是把研究、产品开发、中试加工、制造和商业化集中在同一个地点。重点领域包括生物活性物质、生物健康、生物材料、生物能源及环境解决方案。
中央枢纽规划设有共享实验室、中试加工设施、协作空间，以及符合药品生产质量管理规范（GMP）的制造支援。项目由砂拉越生物多样性中心旗下 BioVerde Technologies Sdn Bhd 管理。
重点不只是又多一栋建筑
砂拉越本来就有生物多样性研究。最难的一步，是把有潜力的成分或技术变成可以稳定测试、制造和销售的产品。共享的中试与 GMP 设施，可帮助没有能力自建整套设备的研究团队和中小企业跨过这道门槛。
动土仪式上交换了8份合作协议与备忘录，不过报道没有公布工程造价、已确认进驻名单、就业人数或商业生产日期。接下来除了追24个月工期，也应该看这些可以实际衡量的成果。
