3名砂拉越人在泰国合艾被捕 — 身上被搜出87公斤冰毒，市价约RM430万！
泰国警方在合艾火车站拦截了一列从曼谷开往陶公府的火车，从3名马来西亚乘客的行李和背包中搜出大量冰毒（syabu）。
武吉阿曼毒品罪案调查部总监 Datuk Hussein Omar Khan 证实，3人都是砂拉越人。大马警方正与泰国当局紧密合作调查此案。
他说：「泰国警方和麻醉品管制局（ONCB）已经跟我们分享了初步逮捕详情。我们一直保持密切联系。」
这批毒品是由合艾警方缉毒组、铁路警察、旅游警察和泰国 ONCB 联合行动破获。初查显示，这批冰毒原本是要运给在大马运作的贩毒集团。
3名嫌犯据称每人只收 RM8,000 报酬来运送这批毒品。
