IIUM有意进驻砂拉越 提升高教选择

砂拉越未来可能迎来马来西亚国际伊斯兰大学（IIUM）的学术据点。

拿督斯里阿都卡林表示，只要能加强本地人才培养、提升知识与技能，砂拉越都应该正面看待公立或私立高等学府进驻。
IIUM校长丹斯里奥斯曼巴卡指出，砂拉越校友曾向校方提出相关想法。校方目前正在研究几个方向，包括先开办特色学术课程，再考虑是否设立完整校园。
为什么这件事重要
如果计划落实，砂拉越学生未来可能有更多本地升学选择，不一定需要离乡到外州深造。
