砂教师职总促正视教师压力与心理健康

砂拉越教师职工会呼吁教育部认真处理教师压力、心理健康和学校工作环境问题。
来源：DayakDaily古晋，8月2日：砂拉越教师职工会（STU）要求有关当局彻查两宗涉及校园范围的教师死亡案件，同时促请教育部正视教师长期面对的工作压力和心理健康问题。
STU主席 Kullin Djayang 表示，案件仍在调查中，外界不应随意猜测，应先让当局厘清事实。
教师压力需要被看见
Kullin 指出，长期压力可能导致情绪耗尽、焦虑和工作动力下降，也可能影响教师继续留在岗位的意愿。
他促请教育部检讨可能加重教师压力的教育政策，包括过多校园行政任务，以及过高的关键绩效指标要求。
学校也是教师的工作场所
STU也提醒，课室、宿舍和教师宿舍等设施，需要维持安全和良好的环境，因为这些都会影响教师与学生的日常状态。
工会向涉及家庭表达慰问，也提醒教师在照顾学生的同时，也要照顾自己的健康。
