古晋试跑零厨余进堆填区计划

古晋今天开始试跑砂拉越首个“零厨余进堆填区”试点计划，地点包括两大会展场地。

这次涉及超过 800名国际代表，地点在古晋婆罗洲会展中心（Borneo Convention Centre Kuching）和古晋河滨酒店（The Waterfront Hotel Kuching）。
会怎么做
主办方会从菜单规划、份量控制，以及在符合食品安全标准的情况下回收剩余食材等方面下手。
整个过程会通过合规平台记录，之后再交由独立单位评估。认证结果预计在大会结束后公布。
BESarawak 表示，他们正在争取 The Pledge on Food Waste Certification，这是国际上用来衡量减少厨余和分流厨余的认证标准。
为什么要注意
如果这次试点成功，未来古晋办大型会议和活动时，就有更清楚的方式减少厨余，而不是全部送去堆填区。对砂拉越会展业来说，这也算是把环保从口号变成实际流程。
