砂拉越已有5座SMART电讯塔因为多次被偷窃和破坏，被迫加建保安围墙。

这个问题不小。一座SMART电讯塔造价大约 250万令吉，但如果因为频频被破坏而要加建围墙，单是一道围墙就要超过 10万令吉。
朱莱希说，被破坏的不只是电讯塔，也包括电缆、光纤网络和其他公共设施。铜缆被偷，可能影响电供、电讯服务，甚至水供系统。
为什么要注意
砂拉越建SMART电讯塔，是为了改善各地区，尤其是郊区和乡区的网络覆盖。站点被破坏，不只是维修费的问题，也可能影响附近居民上网和使用基本服务。
朱莱希表示，执法还是需要，但公众意识也很重要，因为政府不可能在每一座电讯塔都花大钱建围墙。
