砂中央医院重症需求上升，呼吸机病人近3000

砂拉越中央医院（SGH）去年处理2975名使用呼吸机的病人，比2020年接近2300人明显增加。

砂拉越副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤医生说，这个增长说明砂拉越必须继续加强医院容量，确保重症病人可以得到及时照护。
这个数据是在7月25日于古晋举行的砂拉越重症照护大会上提到的。
SGH 的医疗重症照护单位（MCCU）目前有13张床位，主要照顾病情严重的内科病人。大会筹委主席 Rachel Chin Wei Ven 医生也提到，重症照护不是单靠一两个人完成，而是医生、护士、药剂师、物理治疗师和支援人员一起配合。
