民都鲁-沙玛拉如工业区加入全球工业转型网络，砂拉越将担任主导召集方。
砂拉越能源与环境永续副部长拿督哈兹兰阿邦希布尼表示，民都鲁-沙玛拉如 Transitioning Industrial Clusters（TIC）倡议，是要推动这个工业走廊往更低碳、更干净的工业经济转型。
这项倡议在6月正式启动，属于联邦与州政府合作项目，涉及砂拉越能源与环境永续部、MyDIGITAL Corporation，以及世界经济论坛。
对砂拉越有什么影响
民都鲁-沙玛拉如工业走廊，是马来西亚首个加入世界经济论坛TIC网络的成员。
目前已有超过25家公司参与，并确定了4个试点项目。根据报道，这项倡议预计到2040年每年可为GDP贡献约RM120亿，并创造接近1万9000个工作机会。
哈兹兰说，砂拉越会借助本身的再生能源、石化工业基础，以及氢能源发展方向，推动这个低碳工业生态。
