砂副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤表示，消拯局在这起火灾后提出的问题和建议，将会整理成文件，并在吉隆坡的 KPKT 会议上提出。
为什么火势更难控制
诗巫消拯第4区主任 Andy Alie 在现场向沈桂贤汇报灭火时面对的挑战。
其中一个主要问题，是老旧店屋的结构，包括木地板、天花板和内部结构，让火势更容易蔓延，也让控制火势更加困难。
砂政府也会研究是否需要提升灭火设备、改善建筑设计，以及加强消防安全设施。
