Pending码头升级近90%完成

Pending 码头升级工程预计 8 月 24 日完成，附近居民终于有望恢复较短的渡河路线。
旧码头是在 2023 年 9 月 5 日坍塌，影响 Kampung Muhibbah、Pinggan Jaya 和附近地区居民的日常通行。
妇女、家庭及社会发展部长兼 Santubong 国会议员拿督斯里南茜苏克利表示，这项 RM600,660 的升级工程目前已接近 90% 完成。
为什么这件事重要
这个码头不是小事。
对约 200 名使用者，包括学生、上班族、船夫和附近居民来说，跨越砂拉越河的码头，比绕路经过 Samarahan 更快，也比较省油钱。
南茜说，目前只剩大约 12 至 13 米工程，包括两个 bay 和楼梯。天气是主要挑战，但工程仍预计可按时完成。
这项工程由砂拉越河流局执行，内容包括拆除、打桩、码头及混凝土工程、街灯和航海灯安装。
