砂拉越与印尼探讨加强飞往雅加达、巴厘巴板和坤甸的航线，同时改善边境关卡的陆路连接。
图片： 砂交通部，经 DayakDaily印尼驻古晋总领事 Dr Abdullah Zulkifli 礼貌拜会砂交通部长拿督斯里李景胜时，双方讨论了这些连接。随着砂拉越与加里曼丹之间的人流与经济活动增加，更方便的交通对旅游、贸易、投资和家庭往来都会有实际影响。
讨论航线，不等于已经确定开飞
雅加达、巴厘巴板和坤甸被列为现有或潜在连接点，不过7月14日的声明没有公布承运航空公司、班次、开航日期或票价。
这点必须讲清楚。只有航空公司取得所需批准并开放可预订班表后，才算真正可以使用的新航线。在此之前，不应根据一项仍在讨论中的服务安排行程。
这次会议也谈到砂拉越与加里曼丹边境的移民、海关、检疫与安全关卡，希望改善陆路往来。
古晋旅客接下来真正应该留意的是：哪一家航空公司申请、是不是直飞、每周几班，以及时间能否衔接其他航班。可靠更新应以砂交通部、相关航空公司及航空监管单位的正式公告为准。
截至7月14日： 仍在讨论连接方案，没有公布新航线开航日期
