Sarawak’s Johan Ghazali wins Bangkok rematch against Diego Paez by unanimous decision

Sarawak-born Johan “Jojo” Ghazali beat Diego Paez by unanimous decision in Bangkok on October 16, reversing the outcome of their first meeting.
The flyweight Muay Thai rematch went all three rounds at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. Bernama reported that all judges favoured Ghazali after a performance built around controlled punch-and-kick combinations and responses to Paez’s counters.
Paez had won their June 2025 bout by split decision. The distinction matters: that first contest divided the judges, while the return bout produced agreement in Ghazali’s favour, not a knockout.
For followers of the Sarawak fighter, the result is a win in his ONE Friday Fights 175 and The Inner Circle 35 appearance. It was not a world-title bout.
