石角Pines Square新市场10月13日动土，耗资1500万令吉，建成后将交由巴达旺市议会管理，摊位申请也由市议会处理。
这项单层市场工程由Lee Onn Group全额出资，占用3.43英亩市议会土地。《婆罗洲邮报》报道，规划包括270个市场摊位、18个食阁档口，以及封闭式设施和小型农产品收集中心。
收集中心可让农民在收成较多时送来农产品，处理未能即时售出或需要进一步加工的收成。对供应古晋市场的周边种植户而言，新设施不只是多一个零售地点，也计划承担集中收集农产品的功能。
整体摊位规划由原先400个减至300个，为停车及收集中心腾出空间；停车配置为286个汽车位和28个摩托车位。
报道没有列出竣工日期或摊位申请开放时间。目前是动土及发展阶段，并非市场已开业或摊位已开始接受申请。
