奇瑞Omoda 5新车注册暂停 JPJ展开安全调查

陆路交通局（JPJ）暂时停止涉及安全调查的奇瑞（Chery）Omoda 5车型及版本办理新车注册，并暂停相关车辆类型认证。
对砂拉越正等候提车的买家而言，这项全国性的注册措施直接关系到车辆能否完成注册。JPJ在10月11日文告中说明，行动针对可能涉及问题的车型和版本，并非认定所有奇瑞车辆都有同一种缺陷。
已经拥有车辆的车主，则须关注自己的车架号码及生产批次。JPJ要求奇瑞马来西亚依据零件编号、生产批次、车架号码等资料，识别可能受影响的车辆；被确认存在风险的车辆必须召回检查及修正。单看车款名称，不能确定每一辆车是否在受影响范围内。
调查还包括生产与组装流程、相关车轴零件供应商、品质控制及焊接接头检查。JPJ表示，须完成修正与预防措施，并获得该局技术确认安全风险已妥善处理，才会解除暂停。文告没有列出解除日期或完整受影响车架号码清单。
