伊干河Kampung Kebuaw附近捕获三鳄 最大4.75米

伊干河（Batang Igan）Ulu Kampung Kebuaw附近连续三天捕获三条鳄鱼，最大一条长4.75米，估计重500公斤。
持牌捕鳄队负责人向马新社表示，最大的鳄鱼在10月6日凌晨约2时30分被捕获；另外两条分别在4日及5日捕获，长度约2.44米及2.74米。
这支四人队伍3日开始行动，起因是当地居民因频繁见到鳄鱼而求助。行动中，队伍也发现一个约有40枚蛋的鳄鱼巢。村民协助捕捉工作，并帮忙把最大的一条抬上船；负责人也感谢砂拉越森林机构的配合。
这次报道涉及的是村落附近特定河段的捕获结果，不是整条伊干河已经清除鳄鱼。500公斤为估计重量，而非公布的称重纪录；捕获三条鳄鱼也不能视为河中已无其他鳄鱼或解除风险的证明。
