砂拉越推出keteq.GaN功率芯片 瞄准AI与能源系统

砂拉越新推出的keteq.GaN，用途聚焦电力转换与管理。开发商SMD Semiconductor列出的目标领域，包括AI基础设施、再生能源、电池储能、智能电网及未来固态变压器。
这款本地设计的氮化镓（GaN）功率半导体芯片，于10月5日在古晋婆罗洲会展中心举行的IDECS开幕活动上亮相，DayakDaily报道了发布情况。它涉及的是这些系统如何转换及管理电力，不宜仅因应用领域包括AI，就把它理解成处理AI运算的芯片。
SMD于2022年成立。公司主席指出，下一步须让技术走出设计阶段，进入实际应用。对同时发展能源与半导体产业的砂拉越而言，应用落地才是这次发布之后的关键。
报道没有列出客户部署日期、量产规模或独立测得的效率数字。芯片已经发布，与实际电力系统何时采用，仍是两件事。
