AirBorneo 获得泰国航空当局批准机场起降时段，可在古晋与曼谷素万那普机场之间开通直飞航线 — 但航空公司澄清尚未正式提交申请。
这项机场时段分配是在6月9日至11日于曼谷举行的第158届IATA航班协调大会上确定的。AirBorneo 与沙特阿拉伯的 Riyadh Air、英国的 Virgin Atlantic 及摩尔多瓦的 SkyUp Nistru 一同获得泰国航线服务时段。
根据泰国《The Nation》报导，AirBorneo 获得每周14趟古晋-素万那普-古晋往返航班时段，适用于2026/2027冬季航班季节（2026年10月25日至2027年3月27日）。
来源：Borneo Post不过，AirBorneo 随后发表声明澄清，现阶段尚未正式提交曼谷航线的申请。
该公司表示，区域航线属于其长期网络规划的一部分，但任何航线都需要经过标准监管和审批程序才能正式确认。
AirBorneo 强调，目前的优先事项是恢复和稳定本月早些时候受服务中断影响的婆罗洲内陆航线运营。
砂拉越旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部长拿督斯里阿都卡林此前曾表示，AirBorneo 可能在2027年之前扩展到包括泰国在内的区域航线，具体取决于运营准备情况。
