美里蓄水池被促加强定期清理，避免水生植物、垃圾和淤泥增加排水及水患风险。
水利灌溉局在Desa Senadin附近Jalan Ilmu一座蓄水池完成近期清理后，受促为辖下蓄水池和主要排水系统制定固定维护计划。覆盖水面的水葫芦及其他植物已经清除，但可能很快重新生长；随附近排水沟进入的垃圾也被列为需要处理的问题。
州政府已批准300万令吉，供市议会在Senadin、Desa Senadin、Tudan和Permyjaya展开排水维护及提升工程。至于每两个月清理一次的建议，现阶段仍不是已公布的固定时间表。
这项更新是维护安排的要求，不是新的水灾警报。对相关地区居民来说，接下来可留意有关当局是否在下一轮大雨前公布持续性的清理计划。
