哥打三马拉汉一名3岁女童凌晨2点被发现在路边独自游荡，所幸被路过的几名大学生及时发现并救起，警方已展开调查。
事发于周六凌晨约2点，地点在哥打三马拉汉的 Taman Berlian 商业区。几名大学生在附近吃完宵夜骑摩托车回家时，看到一名女童在挥手求助，立即掉头查看。
他们发现这名女童抱着奶瓶、一条蓝色毛巾和一个小珠子篮，哭喊着找妈妈。
三马拉汉代警区主任 DSP Barry William 证实此案，表示警方已找到女童的家人，正在录取口供。
他说：「调查正在进行中，以查明女童为何被独自留在主要道路旁无人看管。」
女童先被带到三马拉汉警区总部，随后转送至砂拉越中央医院（SGH）接受检查。医护人员确认她留院观察作为预防措施。福利部门也已接获通知，正与警方共同跟进此案。
