日本电子零件制造商 Taiyo Yuden 计划扩建位于古晋 Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone 的多层陶瓷芯片电容器厂房，目标在2028年10月完成。
公司代表周四在古晋与砂拉越官员会面时，公布了 A2 扩建计划。项目预计带来高素质就业机会，推动人力资本发展，并进一步巩固砂拉越的电子制造产业链。
Taiyo Yuden 自1994年起在砂拉越营运，生产包括多层陶瓷芯片电容器在内的电子零件。现阶段公布的是扩建计划，并不表示工程已经全面展开，也不代表最终投产日期已经确定。
对古晋而言，这项消息显示 Sama Jaya 工业区的电子制造功能仍在延伸。接下来值得关注的是项目落实情况，以及公司能否按目标在2028年10月完成扩建。
