包县学生遭冒充通讯委员会及警员来电骗走1000令吉

砂拉越包县Kampung Bogag一名23岁学生，9月4日接到冒充通讯及多媒体委员会和警方人员的来电后，被骗转账1000令吉。
来电者指称她涉及网络赌博和洗钱。她通过手机银行转账后，联系了国家诈骗应对中心；包县警方援引刑事法典第420条调查案件。
目前仍在调查的是来电者身份及案件经过。民众若接到类似指控，应先挂断电话，再通过官方号码核实，切勿因对方制造紧迫感而转账。
