民都鲁海关破获RM739万走私大案！720万支私烟、4.3公斤大麻全被截

民都鲁海关在今年4至5月的一系列突击行动中，成功捣毁一个大型走私集团，起获总值RM739万的走私烟酒及大麻。
砂拉越海关总监拿督 Norizan Yahya 在昨日（6月11日）记者会上公布详情：
- 720万支私烟
- 超过8,100公升漏税酒
- 4.3公斤压缩大麻
- 2辆涉案车辆
最大宗案件发生在5月19日：执法人员在民都鲁-美里路一间空置货仓内，搜出542万支香烟和2,788公升走私酒，包括逃税额在内总值RM544万。
另外三场行动分别在 Taman Seaview 空屋和 Plaza Li Hua 空置单位展开，再起获179万支香烟和超过5,300公升酒。

详情： 调查发现，走私集团利用空屋和货仓作为临时囤货点，再分销到本地市场。这4起案件将在《1967年关税法令》第135(1)(d)条文下调查——罪成可被罚款最高商品价值20倍或RM50万（视何者为高），以及监禁6个月至5年。毒品方面，海关也截获了4批以快递寄往民都鲁的大麻包裹。其中2名本地男子在领取毒品包裹时被捕。这些毒品案在《1952年危险毒品法令》第39B(1)条文下调查，罪成可判死刑或终身监禁。
