砂拉越争取9月继续人工降雨，水源压力加剧

砂拉越希望在9月继续进行人工降雨，但能否出动飞机，仍要看当天有没有合适云层。
砂副总理拿督阿玛 Douglas Uggah Embas9月5日表示，州政府正与联邦政府商讨，只要天气条件允许，就尽可能增加人工降雨行动，以提高水坝和集水区水位。
2026年第三轮行动在9月3日至5日展开，范围包括三马拉汉、斯里阿曼、木中、加帛和林梦五个省份，目标涵盖巴当艾、峇贡和姆仑三个水坝，以及13个集水区。乌加恩说，之前的行动对峇贡和姆仑水坝水位有帮助，但巴当艾的效果较小。
目前更迫切的是水源压力，而不是把人工降雨当成烟霾的保证解方。卢保的供水已被形容为危急，阿威和斯保的供水运作也已暂停；炎热天气可能延续至10月。
人工降雨必须配合云量、湿度和风向。宣布行动时段，不代表每次都会成功起飞，也不代表每个地区都会下雨。
