砂拉越展开人工降雨行动，锁定水坝及13个集水区

空军C-130于9月3日从古晋基地起飞，执行砂拉越今年第三次人工降雨任务；早前“有日期、未必能飞”的计划，终于出现实质进展。
飞机起飞不等于每个地点都会下雨。机组只会在约5000至7000尺高、湿度和风向合适的积云中播撒盐水；先前云团不合条件且被风带向南中国海，正是行动一度无法展开的原因。
这一轮行动排至9月5日，先看巴当艾（Batang Ai）、姆伦（Murum）及峇贡（Bakun）3座水电站上空的云况，另涵盖三马拉汉、斯里阿曼、木中、加帛和林梦5省共13个集水区。
本次主要为水坝和集水区补水，缓解烟霾只是可能带来的效果，并非保证。行动是否奏效，仍要看目标区后续的实际雨量、水位和空气污染指数变化。
