诗巫记者兼俳句诗人 John Tiong Chunghoo 逝世，享年66岁

《The Borneo Post》前编辑、诗巫俳句诗人John Tiong Chunghoo星期三逝世，享年66岁。
死讯由其兄长证实，家属没有公布死因。
John在1980年代加入《The Borneo Post》，曾担任编辑，之后也任职全国性报章。他后来把更多时间投入诗歌和旅游写作，尤其以俳句为人熟悉。
他的PoemHunter个人资料列出超过3000首作品，并记录其诗作曾被多个国家的学校和大学采用，包括与GCE及国际文凭考试有关的材料；作品也见于海外文学和教育出版物。
从诗巫报馆到国际读者，他留下的是数十年的新闻与诗歌创作。谨向家属、亲友和旧同事致哀。
