砂刑事调查部换将，有组织罪案成执法重点

砂拉越刑事调查部9月1日完成负责人交接，打击有组织罪案、帮派活动及严重无牌放贷案，成为新任主任的执法重点。
砂警总监 Mohamad Zainal Abdullah 在古晋的交接仪式后说，新任主任 Kumarasan Muniandy 已接掌砂拉越刑事调查部，负责推动更强硬的执法和预防行动。
警方目前正留意数个涉嫌贩毒的集团，但没有公布其身份或数量。Mohamad Zainal Abdullah 表示，只有调查取得足够证据，证明案件具备有组织罪案元素后，警方才会考虑援引《2012年国家安全罪行（特别措施）法令》（SOSMA）。
警方过去曾以SOSMA处理一宗有组织罪案，该案仍在等候审讯。截至9月1日，这次交接没有带来新的逮捕、提控或已定罪名单。
