JKR 已鉴定为危楼，但 SMK Dalat 的女生宿舍仍在使用中 — 砂福利部长 Fatimah Abdullah 紧急喊停。
达叻：SMK Dalat 的女生宿舍已被公共工程局（JKR）鉴定为不安全建筑，但由于没有其他住宿安排，女学生仍然住在里面。
砂妇女、儿童及社区福祉部长兼达叻区州议员 Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah 周一巡视该校时，直言对学生的安全感到担忧。
"最重要的是安全。我们关心的是学生的安全，"她说。
这所已有近48年历史的学校，多栋建筑为木结构，长期受白蚁侵蚀导致结构弱化。女生宿舍就在旧校舍旁边，尽管 JKR 已鉴定为不安全，却仍然在使用。
Fatimah 指出，虽然宿舍被学生打理得干净整齐，但窗户框等明显被白蚁蛀蚀的痕迹说明必须立即采取行动。
据了解，宿舍并未被列入该校的翻新工程范围。
