The government has officially gazetted a 10-year passport option — and here is what it costs.\n\nThe Fees (Passports and Visas) (Amendment) Order 2026 was published in the Government Gazette on June 3, clearing the way for Malaysian passports with a validity period of up to 10 years.\n\nCurrently, a standard passport costs RM200 for five years.
