More than 26,000 people in Sarawak had received welfare assistance by June, with total spending exceeding RM104.7 million.

The ministry also said its SPeKTRUM caregiver-support programme had involved 150 participants from Sarawak. The national target is 2,000 trained caregivers by November, subject to the programme rollout.
