KPA：Sejingkat-Samarahan新桥下 Pending码头仍运作

古晋港务局表示，尽管外界担心Sejingkat-Samarahan新桥影响船只通行，Pending码头目前仍持续运作。
KPA说，Pending Terminal已经重新定位，主要处理砂拉越国内贸易货物。今年1月至6月，码头共记录179次船只停靠，货物吞吐量约21万7600吨。它也继续负责运往新加坡和雪兰莪的活猪出口，每年出口吞吐量约1万4000吨。
Senari Terminal则会作为多用途码头，处理集装箱、滚装车辆、工程货物、小麦、米、玉米、大豆和肥料。目前车辆场可容纳2500辆，预计今年底再增加1000辆空间。
这项说明是在Padungan区州议员张健仁（Chong Chieng Jen）提出疑虑后发出。张健仁此前表示，新桥净空可能限制部分船只进入Pending，导致更多货运转到Senari。KPA则说，两个码头会继续分工运作，以应付古晋不断增加的货运需求。
