Girl Reportedly Falls From Kuching Bridge, Rescued By Boatman

A girl was safely rescued after reportedly falling from Darul Hana Bridge at Kuching Waterfront on Aug 14.
Videos circulating online showed a crowd gathering near the pedestrian bridge. The girl was later seen in the Sarawak River, where a boatman manoeuvred his vessel towards her and brought her to safety. Members of the public were also seen entering the river during the rescue.
DayakDaily reported that the girl was understood to be safe. Police had not issued an official statement at the time of reporting, and the circumstances behind the fall had not been confirmed.
