Malaysia Day 2026 to be Celebrated at BCCK in Kuching

Malaysia Day 2026 will be held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), marking the first time Kuching hosts the national celebration.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil confirmed the venue after the first preparatory meeting, which was held with Sarawak Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who co-chairs this year's celebrations.
BCCK was chosen for its suitable space, similar to last year's venue in Butterworth. The next planning meeting is scheduled for Aug 24.
