砂拉越的炎热干燥天气预计持续到8月9日，南部地区还可能出现跨境烟霾。
气象局（MetMalaysia）指出，受持续的南风影响，加上邻国热点增加，砂拉越部分地区可能出现烟霾和能见度下降的情况。
最新天气预报也显示，这段期间婆罗洲大部分地区降雨量将低于平均水平。
另外，目前活跃于西太平洋的台风「海豚」预计向日本冲绳移动，8月9日前转向中国。台风预计会在8月6日至9日期间加强沙巴和纳闽的西风。
气象局提醒民众，可通过官网、社交媒体或 myCuaca 应用程式获取最新天气资讯。
