Demak Laut Factory Fire Spreads to Nearby Premises, No Casualties Reported

A fire at an ice cream factory in Demak Laut Industrial Park spread to a neighbouring premises on Friday afternoon.

The Fire and Rescue Department said the blaze involved a storage area for ice-cream powder before spreading to the rear of the factory and into a second nearby premises.
Firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya and Petra Jaya fire stations were sent to the scene after Bomba received a distress call at 12.23pm on July 10.
No casualties reported
According to the report, no casualties were reported. Factory personnel managed to evacuate safely.
The operation was still focused on extinguishing the blaze when the initial report was published.
