如楼滤水站提升竣工增供水量 另一新厂仍在设计阶段

如楼供水工程第一配套已完成，滤水能力每日增加340万公升；另一座规划中的新滤水厂仍处于设计阶段。
《婆罗洲邮报》引述砂拉越乡区供水局资料报道，耗资2570万令吉的提升工程于2024年8月动工，今年8月竣工，包括新原水取水口、泵站及28.8公里水管。
看守公用事业与电讯部长Julaihi Narawi在11月2日的启用仪式上说，如楼镇及周边地区的水压已有改善；Berjawai至Nanga Luau一带也开始获得供水，包括过去没有净水供应的地区。
按照砂拉越供水总体规划，另一座日处理量3000万公升的滤水厂目前还在设计，由乡区供水局负责落实，并非已经建成。原有滤水站建于1972年，日处理能力为120万公升。
