古晋南市住宅区拟装197电眼 经费不足先做重点

古晋南市准备把闭路电视覆盖范围从商业区扩至住宅区，但197台的需求目前仍是规划，并非已获足额拨款的安装承诺。
古晋南市市长黄鸿圣（Wee Hong Seng）10月17日在Kenyalang Park Community Association出席居民交流活动时表示，经费不足，市政局会先处理较重要地点，包括住宅区出入口，同时争取更多拨款。计划预期在2027及2028年落实。
南市目前有67台闭路电视，主要设在商业区。黄鸿圣估计，辖区总数可能增至约140台或更多；这个数字与住宅区本身所需的197台，属于不同口径，不能当成197台已经全部获批。
地点选择由南市市政局负责，再向执行单位提出建议；砂拉越数码经济机构（SDEC）负责落实，系统将连接砂拉越综合行动中心（SIOC）。住宅区最终获安排的地点和次序，仍取决于后续规划及经费。
